    Raising Hope — free parenting conference (board-wide)

    A free half-day conference for TCDSB parents and guardians, run by the board's Catholic Parent Involvement Committee — a keynote, talks by your child's age group (K–3 and 4–8 for Blessed Trinity families), and a workshop on technology, AI and parenting.     Terry Fox School Walk

    The school's Terry Fox walk, Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. It goes ahead rain or shine, so dress children for the weather, in red and white if they can. Kindergarten to the Grade 1/2 class walk laps of the schoolyard and field; Grades 2 to 8 walk a route through the streets around the school. Donations stay open online.

    Orange Shirt Day / National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

    Children wear an orange top with their usual blue uniform bottoms to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation — parents are invited to wear orange too. It is a normal school day — the federal holiday does not close TCDSB schools, and the school calendar shows a full day of activities.

    Send non-perishable food to school with your child any time from 21 September to 7 October. Most needed: rice, pasta, canned foods, canned vegetables and cereal. Everything collected is picked up by the Daily Bread Food Bank.
